Day 15: Rubey Mosley Hulen

I didn’t forget, I was unavailable!

Rubey Mosley Hulen was part of the ground-layer that led to the infamous, and most important, Supreme Court decision for African Americans. He raised the fact that separate but equal was inherently unfair and violated the Constitution. He served as a justice, appointed by FDR in the 1950s.

Also, this decision initially generated from St. Louis…… three blacks went to an “all white” swimming pool. (Remember Ferguson.)
