Betrayal (The Angel Pack book1) Excerpt:
“Protect me?” Jesse said with disdain in his voice and a cold look in his eyes. “Protect me?” he repeated. “That’s why you sat there and allowed your friend there to talk to me like that?”
“Thomas didn’t mean anything. He was just asking if there may be someone who is angry with you.”
“Yeah. Riiiight,” Taylor said with his hands fisted on his hips, glaring at Thomas. “He pretty much just called us whores and you’re sticking up for him? Nice, Micah, real nice,” Taylor finished coldly.
“We’re just trying to get to the bottom of this. To look at all the angles,” Micah said in frustration.
“Yeah well maybe Thomas did it! Maybe he has some sick reason. Maybe he’s just a total fucktard!” Jesse sneered at Thomas. A flash of something Jesse couldn’t make out crossed Thomas’s eyes, but he covered it up quickly and narrowed his eyes at Jesse.
“What reason would I have to do something like that to our own club?” Thomas asked calmly.
“How the hell should I know, we don’t know you. Just like you don’t know us. Maybe you’re just a psycho asshole.” Taylor smiled at that last part.
“Enough!” Micah yelled. “We’re not getting anywhere throwing names at each other. Let’s just sit down and calmly talk about this.”
Jesse grabbed Taylor’s hand and turned to leave. “Let’s go, Tay. We have better things to do than sit here with these assholes. There are at least twenty to thirty hot guys still down there that we haven’t fucked yet. If we start now we can get to all of them by sunrise.” Jesse and Taylor headed across the V.I.P. lounge toward the stairs.
Micah ran after them and grabbed Jesse’s arm and turned him around. He grabbed onto both of Jesse’s arms and held him tight. “You’re mine, Jesse! I better never find another man touching you! You belong to me!” Micah pulled Jesse into him and smashed their lips together hard. Jesse tried to pull away. He fought to get out of Micah’s hold, but he couldn’t. He kept his lips tightly closed. The passion and anger in Micah’s eyes and lips were playing with Jesse’s resolve.
Micah’s tongue came out and swiped across the seam of Jesse’s lips, demanding entry. Jesse lost the battle as his head started to swim. He opened his lips slightly, and it was just enough for Micah to take advantage and he slipped his tongue into Jesse’s mouth.
Their tongues battled for dominance. A growl escaped Micah as his arms wrapped around Jesse. The growl sent a thrill through Jesse and he melted against Micah, submitting to him, as he held onto Micah’s shirt. Micah’s wolf was overjoyed at Jesse’s submission. He wanted to claim their mate right now. Micah kept one arm wrapped around Jesse’s waist and moved the other to grab the back of his head, holding him tight. His heart and head were soaring with the knowledge that his mate was finally in his arms. Jesse tasted better than anything on this planet. He tasted of chocolate, cinnamon, and a hint of lavender. Jesse’s lips were so soft and his body fit Micah’s perfectly. A small moan escaped Jesse and Micah smiled against Jesse’s lips with a small chuckle.
Dante’s Mates (Beyond the Angel Pack book 1)Excerpt:
Dale’s eyes fluttered open and two of the most amazingly gorgeous men stood before him. One sat on the edge of his bed. He had the most beautiful brown eyes that Dale had ever seen. His eyes were stunning and they were framed by the longest lashes. His jet-black hair was cut tight on the sides and was longer up on top. It was a mess and didn’t suit him right. Dale never got a close look at this man before but he knew who he was. This was the prince. Prince Dante Calebrese. Any time Dale had seen him before he was always mesmerized by the sight of the man. He always looked so well put together, clothes perfect and without a wrinkle, shoes shined, and not a single hair out of place. If Dale had known he was this gorgeous he would have made it a point to get closer to him on those few occasions the man was at the club. He wasn’t as put together as he was all the other times Dale had spied him from afar. His clothes were wrinkled, his shirt open at the top, with just a hint of skin showing. Dale wondered what he looked like naked.
He blinked and his eyes shifted to the other man who was standing behind the prince. He was just as gorgeous. He was tall and broad chested with muscles that strained against his white T-shirt, and he wore tight black jeans that hugged his hips and muscled thighs. His olive skin glowed and made his deep, chocolate-brown eyes pop. He too had lashes that were so long, that any woman would be jealous. His eyes would look amazing with black kohl around them, Dale thought. Then there was the hair. Oh gods, don’t get me started on the hair. It was chestnut brown and had a slight wave. It lay against his shoulders and also looked a mess, like he had been running his fingers through it. Who was this man and why were they both here looking down at him?
“Hello, Dale,” Prince Calebrese said to him. Dale’s eyes snapped to the prince’s. He smiled at Dale and his whole face lit up. He was a thing of beauty. Perfect white teeth and oh gods, dimples. Could the man be anymore gorgeous?
Dale’s cock twitched in appreciation of the man’s beauty. He lowered his head and looked down as he felt his cheeks get pink from embarrassment.
He cleared his throat and swallowed. “Prince,” he whispered.
“Please, none of that prince stuff. I am Dante, just Dante.”
Dale lifted his eyes and looked at Dante. He was still smiling. He shifted his gaze to the other man.
“I am Dare Davis. Hello, young one.”
“You’re one of the men Taylor told me about that was visiting,” Dale whispered.
“Yes I am. I came to this plane in hopes of finding one of my lost warriors,” Dare explained and Dale’s eyes went wide.
“This plane? Where are you from?” Dale asked in surprise.
“I am originally from here, earth. But my kind were slaughtered over a thousand years ago. I along with the other ones who were spared, sought sanctuary with the fae in their realm,” Dare explained.
“Wow,” Dale whispered. He cleared his throat again. “So…why are you both here…with me…in my room?”
“We are worried about you, Dale. We were here in a meeting with Micah when Jesse called for help,” Dante said gently.
“Oh gods,” Dale moaned in distress and rolled away from them, giving them his back. He curled into a ball and pulled the blanket over his head. “Please go.”
“We can’t do that, young one. We must watch over you and insure you don’t try to hurt yourself again,” Dare said emotionless.
Dante spun around and shot him an angry glare. Dare raised his eyebrows in question. Dante sighed and turned back toward Dale. He could see the man’s body shaking under the blankets and he could hear his soft sobs. “That is not why we are here, baby.” Dante reached out a hand and placed it gently on Dale’s back. He stroked Dale’s back tenderly in comfort. “We wanted to make sure you were okay. You scared the hell out of us.” Dante spoke softly hoping to ease Dale. Dale sniffled and rolled onto his back, moving the blankets off his face. His tear-streaked face was red and his eyes were full of sorrow and pain. It broke Dante’s heart to see his mate in this condition.
“Why are you calling me baby?” Dale said on a small sob.
Newest release- When World’s Collide (Beyond the Angel Pack book 3) Excerpt:
“What are you doing here?” he asked in a nervous voice, like he had been caught doing something he wasn’t supposed to do. Like a child caught with his hand in the cookie jar.
“I was just speaking with Micah and he mentioned some activity going on here. I came to see for myself,” Phenex answered and slowly moved about the cave.
“Didn’t he tell you I was here investigating already?” Ryland’s angry voice had bite in it, which made Phenex stop and give him a questioning look.
“Actually, no he didn’t. He said they found items had been moved back into the cave and I came right away to check it out,” Phenex explained and began walking around the cave again. “In his defense, he may have wanted to tell me not to worry, that you were already here, but I did leave rather abruptly.”
“Of course in his defense, because gods know, the great Micah can do no wrong in my son and my mate’s eyes,” Ryland hissed under his breath.
“What was that?” Phenex asked and raised a brow at Ryland.
“You sure, because it sounded a hell of a lot like―”
“I said nothing. Now drop it,” Ryland growled.
“Fine. Color it dropped,” Phenex said and turned away walking to the other side of the cave.
“Color it dropped? What the hell does that even mean?” Ryland asked incredulously.
“Just something young Taylor would say,” Phenex said with a chuckle.
“I think you’re spending too much time with the Guardian. He’s dropping your I.Q. points.”
Phenex spun around to face Ryland. His face filled with confusion and rage. “What is your problem these days? Who shoved that massive pole up your ass and super glued it there?”
“Screw you.” Ryland huffed and turned away.
“Oh now who’s I.Q. points have dropped? Couldn’t come up with anything better? Whatever happened to the fun loving man I once knew?”
“He learned that was a foolish way to live,” Ryland whispered, his voice laced with hurt.
“Says who?” Phenex asked and walked closer to Ryland. “Dare? I think it is you who spent too much time with the closed off dragon.”
“At least he knew how to be serious. Not all of life is a joke. And at least he didn’t abandon me,” Ryland spit out.
“Neither did I, your highness. You forced me away,” Phenex spat, turned and walked away.
“Whatever,” Ryland said under his breath.
They both remained quiet as they searched the cave. “I can do this by myself you know? I don’t need you here,” Ryland said, breaking the silence.
“Of course you can. Because gods know the great fae King doesn’t need anyone,” Phenex said absently as he rounded a corner into an alcove.
“What is that supposed to mean?” Ryland asked angrily. But Phenex gave no reply. “Phen?” Again, no response came and Ryland walked to where the Legion commander disappeared. He walked around the stone wall and stopped dead at the site before him. A large king-sized bed sat in the alcove. It looked plush and inviting with an extra thick mattress and fluffy pillows. It was a four post bed with a cast-iron headboard that had sweeping scrollwork with delicate castings and finials that made it look graceful. To the side of the bed stood a wooden nightstand with a few candles on top. As Ryland’s eyes swept the area he noticed candles sat all over the area in cutouts in the walls. Sitting against one of the walls was a large cooler. “What the hell is all of this? Is Malachi planning a kidnapping or a seduction?” Ryland asked as he moved closer to the bed and fingered the soft material of the comforter.
“I don’t know. But he is either planning a night of romance or he’s intending to capture someone of importance. Someone he believes should be shown care instead of cruelty. Someone like…” Phenex left off his sentence.
“Lomiel,” Ryland whispered in horror.
“We have to warn Micah,” Phenex said and grabbed Ryland’s hand. He walked them to the nearest wall and placed his hand upon it, but nothing happened. “What the fuck?” he said in shock.
“What’s wrong?” Ryland asked anxiously.
“The wall is still solid. My powers don’t work,” Phenex whispered, as shock and confusion marred his face.
“What do you mean they don’t work?” Ryland asked angrily with a hint of fear.
“I mean they don’t work,” Phenex growled and began pushing his hands around different places on the rock, trying to gain entry.
“How is that possible?”
“I don’t know,” Phenex growled in frustration.
“Let’s figure that out later,” Ryland said and grabbed Phen’s hand. “We need to get back to Micah. Our son is in danger. Come, I’ll open a portal,” Ryland said and dragged Phen back into the main cave. He began to chant, but nothing happened.
“Doesn’t work?” Phenex asked snidely.
“What the hell is going on here? Why won’t our powers work?” Ryland said angrily.
The Beast Within (A stand alone book) Excerpt:
Ghost Heart was coming in to meet with them. Ghost fucking Heart was considering joining The Beast Within. Son of a bitch. If they could get Ghost Heart, they would be unstoppable. With his vocals and Ghost’s guitar, they could make magic happen. And with Ren on drums, Tom on bass, and Joe on keys, this would be the band he always dreamed of.
“Is he here yet?” Joe asked as he ran into the conference room. He sat in the chair next to Tom.
“Yeah, Lee just went to get him and bring him up,” Tom answered.
“Damn, Ghost Heart. If we pull this off, we’re gonna shoot right to the stars, man,” Joe said with excitement.
“Just be cool, Joe. Let’s not act like the shy wallflower getting a date with the quarterback. Yes, it would be fan-fucking-tastic if we scored Ghost, but it’s okay if we don’t. We’ll find someone and do what we’ve always done,” Sky said.
“They’re coming,” Ren said and moved away from the door he had been peeking out of. He jumped into his chair by Sky and leaned back, trying to act cool. The guys all started laughing at him and the door opened.
Lee walked in and moved to the side, and there in the doorway was the god himself. Damn, the man was even hotter in person. He stood there with a sexy woman on each arm. Sunglasses covered his eyes and his face looked hard, like he was pissed. He turned to the woman on his left on gave her a quick kiss on the lips, then turned and did the same with the one on the right.
“I need to take care of some business now, pretties. Why don’t you have a seat out here? If I’m longer than half an hour, take a walk down to that cafe we passed and get us a table,” he said in that smooth, sexy voice. The women giggled and turned away to find a seat. Ghost turned to watch them go. He lowered his sunglasses slightly to stare at their asses and then covered his eyes again and turned back to the room. Manwhore or overcompensating? Sky thought.
“Ghost Heart, may I introduce The Beast Within,” Lee started, but Ghost cut him off.
“No, man. I got this. Hey, Ren,” he said and met Ren halfway as they shook hands and patted each other on the back.
“It’s good to see you, Ghost. Come on in, have a seat.” Ren motioned to a chair. “These are my boys. Right here is Joe Miller, and next to him is Tom Wilkens, and over here is…”
“Sky Taylor,” Ghost said and stared at Sky. He reached out and offered Sky his hand.
Sky stood and clasped hands, and gasped as a jolt of electricity ran up his arm and through his body. What the fuck was that? “Good to meet ya, Ghost,” Sky said as he quickly composed himself.
“Yeah, you too,” Ghost said coolly and released his hand. He sat in the offered chair and Sky and Ren took their seats. Lee had closed the door during their exchange, but now sat at the head of the table.
“So, Ghost. May I call you Ghost, or is that just a stage name?” Lee asked.
“No, it’s my real name,” he answered with no emotion. “And you can call me Mr. Heart.”
The guys snickered at Ghost’s remark and Lee’s face turned pale. Sky had to admit, it was good seeing Lee get all ruffled. Good for Ghost. Don’t take any shit from Lee.
Lee stuttered for a minute before he caught himself and cleared his throat. “Yes, well, Mr. Heart. Thank you for coming in today to meet with us. I know Ren has spoken to you about possibly joining us.”
“And what do you play?” Ghost asked Lee in a bored tone. Sky looked down to hide the smile that was threatening to appear.
“Excuse me?” Lee asked in surprise.
“What instrument do you play?” Ghost asked again, but slowly, like Lee was a child.
1. How long have you been writing?
I have been writing since I was about 10, but never had the confidence to share my stories. I started writing my first book Betrayal almost two years ago. It took me awhile because I kept doing it over and over again. I final got the courage to submit it to a publisher and it was accepted. It was released 1 year ago.
2. What made you choose to do MM Erotica?
I never even knew there was M/M erotica out there until about 3 years ago. I read one of these and fell in love with it. I found another by Stephani Hecht. It was book 1 in her Lost Shifters series, and I was very impressed and fell in love with the genre. Then the idea for Betrayal came to me and the story just flowed out of me. I never had that before and realized that this is what I should be writing.
3. Who or what is your inspiration to write?
I always wanted to be a writer. But as I said before, I never had the confidence to do anything with my stories. While sitting talking to my teenage son one day, we were discussing a book we both read and he told me he wanted to be an Author when he grew up. I told him about my writing and all the books I had written and stored away over the years. He encouraged me to finally do it. So I look at my son as my inspiration.
4. Do you have material in any other genre?
I do have other books under more of a horror or thriller genre, but I haven’t done anything with them. None of them are published, but I am working on one now that has nothing to do with M/M. It is a horror/thriller, and I do want to submit this one to a publisher and see what happens.
5. Who is your favorite character that you’ve written and why?
That’s a toss up. I love my character Taylor, because he is so over-the-top and right in your face. But he has a good heart. He really likes who he is and won’t change for anyone. He lives out and proud and makes no apologies. He is who he is and if someone can’t accept him for who he is, then he has no time for them. I love that. I wish more people could be like Taylor and just be themselves. The other character I love is Jesse. He had a shitty life but he still has hope that there is good in the world. With Jesse, family comes first. He accepts everyone he considers family, for who they are. He doesn’t judge them, but encourages them and is fiercely protective of them. That is the way I was raised, family first and always be there for them.
6. Do you have any advice for new erotica authors?
Believe in yourself and your story. Read through it with the eyes of a reader, not the person who wrote it, and see what the readers will be seeing. If it makes sense to you, then submit it and stand by it. And don’t let anyone in your life look down on you because you write erotica. If it makes you happy and you are good at it, then go with it and be proud of yourself.
7. Tell us something unique about yourself.
I love the arts. Anything that has to do with the arts. I have a degree in Photography and made a living as a photographer many years ago. For awhile I was a wedding videographer. When video taping weddings first started, I was one of the first few who did this. I also love to sketch. Give me a piece of paper and a pencil and I can sit for hours and create.
