Alycia Morris’s Contribution to the book is the short story titled “Family Affair.”
Alycia (pronounced Alicia) Morris was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma but raised in Waco and Dallas, Texas by her grandparents. She moved back to Oklahoma City during her teenage years and remained there until she graduated from high school. After graduation, Alycia joined the United States Army and enjoyed traveling from South Carolina, Virginia, Alaska and eventually back to Texas where she finished her military career. She attended the University Of Central Oklahoma, majoring in Sociology. After graduating in 2007, Alycia began working at the Juvenile Detention Center in Oklahoma City. It was there that her writing began. She worked the overnight shift and had plenty of time to let her imagination pour out on paper.
Alycia looked at it as “just a short story” never imagining it could materialize. In 2010, she shared the short story with her sister who her to turn the story into a novel. “Nothing New Except Someone New” was released in April of 2015 and “Foul Play” followed closely behind it in May of 2015. “Foul Play 2” came out in late June. Alycia is currently raising three kids and working full time, putting in the extra work whenever possible. She appreciates Zitro Publications for not only giving her a chance but giving her the opportunity to make her dreams come true and take her writing to an entirely new level.

Nick Thomas is Waco, Texas’ most eligible bachelor. Blessed with both smarts and good looks, he’s had his fair share of women. However, his blessing also becomes his curse when he finds himself in the middle of a murder investigation.
The Meyers family have been through a lot together and things are starting to take a turn for the worse. Janice Meyers has always led a straight and narrow life—and things are no different when she finally heads off to college. All seems well until a particular man stumbles in her life and changes her views on everything.
Janice’s mother, Jackie is the chief of staff at Baylor Hospital. She married young, loves her husband and daughter dearly—but loves herself even more. Tired of playing the role of the good wife, Jackie decides to switch things up a little…
Filled with mystery and suspense, “Foul Play” gives new meaning to the phrase ‘trust no one’. In a world where you can either play by the rules or get played, each of these characters must decide their own fate. Meanwhile, the clock is ticking, and a murderer must be stopped before the time runs out.
